Intern – Healthcare Data Analytics

Job Summary
For the summer of 2019, the Delaware valley Accountable Care Organization (DVACO) is hiring a paid intern to support our growing health care data analytics division. This paid internship is full-time for up to 12 weeks.

If you are a graduate student interested in an internship for the summer of 2019? DVACO summer internship program places diverse graduate students currently pursuing master’s degrees in data analytics or a related field in a paying summer internship opportunity. Experienced administrators serve as preceptors and mentors, providing support and career advice as well as those critical early-career connections. The intern will have the exciting opportunity to work with the DVACO Analytics team to collect, process, integrate, analyze and present data; and guidance for projects to improve clinical quality and financial success for the ACO and its participating partners.

DVACO is a limited liability joint venture corporation comprised primarily of two major health systems: Jefferson Health and Main Line Health, serving the Greater Philadelphia region and southern New Jersey. DVACO was accepted into the Medicare Shared Savings Program for the 2014 start year, and now includes 2,000 physicians serving over 180,000 lives. DVACO contracts with four commercial payers and serves Medicare beneficiaries, making it the region’s largest Accountable Care Organization.
